Leigh Morfoot

Director / Producer / Production Manager
For nearly eight years I have worked at the American Museum of Natural History production managing the multi-media production group, Science Bulletins. We produce and distribute educational, science content for museums nationwide.

Prior to joining the Science Bulletins team, I worked at Maysles Films where I gained exposure to all aspects of documentary production and was deeply influenced by Albert and the direct-cinema approach to filmmaking that he helped to pioneer with his brother David.

Jason and I met and fell in love in high school back in 1988 and have been collaborating on fiction and documentary projects since 1997.

I earned a B.A. in African American Studies and English Literature from the University of Virginia and an M.A. in Media Studies from the New School University.

Primarily I collaborate with Leigh, but also freelance as a producer, editor and cameraman. I have a law degree from Emory University and majored in History at Trinity College.

We are the parents of two wonderful boys, Max and Gus.
